Jon and I went to Thunder over Louisville for the first time last weekend. Here is a picture from the fireworks. My camera is not working so we had to use Jon's phone so it is a little dark.

Life has definetly changed a lot in the past few weeks! We have been so busy I feel like we have been running from one thing to another. BUT, things are good.

I love our new Church. Jon is doing an amazing job as a Youth Minister and I am so proud of him! The people at our Church have been so amazing and have taken us in like we are family. It has been a long time since we have been a part of a Church that treats us that way and I am more thankful for them than I can say. I also love getting to spend time with the youth. The girls are amazing and so fun to hang out with...even if they make me play games like "big booty" and games where you have to copy cat them in crazy dance moves and they all choose me to copy them, EVERY turn! (At least the Roger Rabbit, Running Man, Mash Potatoe and other dances from my middle school years have been able to re-emerge when it was my turn to make them copy me!)

The Lord has been showing me how much change He wants to do in me and I can say that sometimes I wonder how any woman could ever live up to the likes of a Titus 2 or Proverbs 31 woman. When I was single I felt like I had life much more together and godly. Now that I am married, it is like life is a different ball game all together. Jon is such an amazing husband and is so patient with me as I am trying to learn to be the best wife I can be. I was thinking this morning about the 1st day God told me I was going to marry Jon. Back then, I thought God was crazy and I didn't see how we would work out for His Kingdom other than God telling me to trust Him that things would be right. NOW I see exactly how God made us for each other and why He wanted me to be Jon's wife.

Anyway. Life is good. Not always so easy, but good. I am thankful for my life and every situation in it. God is very good to me...
