The Date, the Dress, and the Dude

You get engaged and then it is as if you have no time in your life for much of anything...well, I guess when you have a wedding to plan in 80 days. It seems as though my mind is so occupied with plans, etc...that I haven't had time to do much else.

Anyway. The wedding date:
April 29th, 2006 here in my little home town. We are getting married outside on the lake and are very excited about it! I hope some of you guys can come!
Hmm. Pictures...

Two of my dress....I had to take them myself but you get the idea...I  L  O   V   E  my dress!! I am SO excited about it...I never would have thought I would be this excited...

The side view...sorry the lighting is so dark...

And the middle.

Then, Jon and I went up to Louisville KY this past week to visit Southern Seminary and Boyce College where we hope to attend school come fall. We also attended a COLDPLAY concert in Louisville. Jon LOVES Coldplay so I suprised him with tickets. He was so stinkin excited. The concert was awesome.

Anyway, here are two more pictures of us...

The first one is me pretending to strangle him...

and the second just a huggy picture of us...

I get more and more excited about marrying Jon every day.

We went to our first session of marriage counceling yesterday...what we learned:
Jon's love languages= Words of Affirmation + Touch
Barb's love languages= Gifts + Touch
Should be fun.

Well according to the phone call I got a night back congratulations are in order. I, on the other hand, have no ring on my finger to warrent such congrats...even though word around the house is that I am getting married.
I don't mean to keep you all in suspense.... but I have no story to tell...other than my dad gave Jon his blessing...whatever that could mean...
